Sidewalk Repair and Replacement
The CRA is seeking qualified contractors, specializing in sidewalk repair and replacement, to provide services to various sites within the Uptown Redevelopment Area TIF District. The CRA is building a contractor pool and will accept qualification packets on a monthly rolling basis until a sufficient number of contractors have been selected.

This first round of five sidewalks will be awarded to one firm, but we are forming the pool at the same time. Once the annual rate is decided, addresses will be assigned to contractors in batches.
CRA has scoped for seed and straw for right of way grass disturbances. If there’s severe disturbance, a change order can be negotiated for appropriate landscape repairs.
This depends on how City of Memphis wants us to proceed. There will likely be recommended specifications from the Engineering Department on how to perform the work and additional allowance from CRA.
Proposal packets should include a cover letter, contractor’s license, city bonding letter, and the following pages from the RFPQ: qualification application (pages 9 & 10), certification forms (pages 11-14), and bid forms (pages 16-20).
