Neuwill Construction Becomes the Second Developer to Build Essential Housing

Neuwill Construction becomes the second developer to move forward in the Essential Housing Program.

On March 26, the CRA welcomed the public to 915 Faxon Avenue to celebrate the future 3-bed, 2-bath home being built by Andre Harris of NueWill Construction. Harris is a small-scale developer who has built homes in Messick Buntyn, Smokey City, and Whitehaven.

“We’re increasing affordable housing and increasing values in these communities that may not have had investment over the years,” Harris stated at the event. “We are eliminating blight in the process, and we’re also bringing back tax dollars to the city so that Mayor Paul Young and his team can continue all the work that they’re doing.”

The CRA has partnered with 18 emerging developers to develop over 60 units in Uptown and Binghampton. View available lots and learn more about the program at: https://cramemphis.org/memphis-essential-housing/
