Project: Morris Park

Morris Park

This project birthed out of the Uptown Community Plan, began in 2021. The CRA, contributed $1.5 million towards the completion of the park and partnered with the City of Memphis to continue improving the quality of life for area residents.

The City of Memphis hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 10, 2023, to unveil this exciting project. Former Mayor Strickland and representatives from several neighboring organizations were in attendance.
