Pollinator Garden 2026

Pollinator Gardens

Launched in April 2024, the Native Land Management Program has transformed three Smokey City lots. Partnering with local black-owned contractor Servitude Solutions and with hydroseeding by Aelera Contracting, the CRA has reimagined these areas as lively community gathering spots where neighbors connect and native ecosystems thrive.

In 2026, the CRA transformed an additional eight vacant lots along I-40 into flourishing pollinator gardens, all nestled within a vibrant half-mile corridor between Firestone and Vollintine Avenues.
