Soulsville Charter School Creates Area Plan to Reinvigorate the Neighborhood

On June 9, Soulsville Charter School continued its brownfield education both inside and outside the classroom. The class was tasked with reimagining the neighborhood by turning vacant buildings and abandoned spaces into public places. The students created plans to reinvigorate Soulville, including a hospital, grocery store, and housing for the unhoused. This project was part of an EPA Brownfield grant awarded to the CRA in 2023.
