Emma Turri

Community Builder: Project Manager

As a Project Manager and Community Builder for the CRA, Emma focuses on bringing development plans from conception to implementation. Supporting both the Community Building Department and the Planning & Community Development Department, she assists in facilitating meetings, creating schedules, and procuring contractors for a variety of projects. While at the CRA she has managed environmental assessments, demolitions of abandoned structures, creation of two neighborhood parks, community engagement events, a commercial building rehab, and a handful of grant applications.

Growing up in Midtown Memphis, Emma graduated from Central High School, and attended University of Memphis to study Art. Her family was actively involved in many aspects of architecture and design for some of downtown & Uptown’s earliest revitalization projects. Well-acquainted with the core of the city, her experience as a property manager and real estate agent allowed for a seamless transition into project management.
