Emma’s passion for development began with her family’s work in the revitalization of Downtown and Uptown Memphis. After studying Studio Art at the University of Memphis, she moved to the East Coast and worked in the food service industry. In 2013, she returned to Memphis and built a career in property management and real estate sales before joining the CRA in 2022. As Senior Project Manager, Emma leads projects from conception through implementation, overseeing brownfield initiatives, state and federal grants, commercial building rehabs, environmental assessments, and demolitions. She works within the Planning & Community Development department to coordinate schedules, contractors, and community-focused developments, bringing a creative, collaborative approach to revitalizing Memphis neighborhoods.
