The City of Memphis and Shelby County Community Redevelopment Agency (the “ CRA”) respects the privacy of employees and constituents and is committed to complying with applicable privacy and personal data protection laws. The CRA does not collect or use personal information for the purposes of marketing or selling to any person or entity.
The CRA as a governmental entity is also subject to the Tennessee Public Records rules and regulations which require public information to be provided to Tennessee Residents with the only charge being the cost of duplicating records.
Any public information that is provided by text is also subject to the Tennessee Public Records rules and regulations. Also, the CRA does not charge employees to send or receive text messages as part of their work responsibilities.
Further, the CRA does not share information about individual users for marketing purposes with any third party. The CRA opposes the emailing of any junk mail and does not sell user information to email lists or telemarketers.
