This platform showcases over 350 properties designated for redevelopment by the CRA, all located in the heart of North Memphis. Competitive RFP: Properties will be released in a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process asking for development proposals to be submitted and reviewed by CRA and community advisory focus groups. As the RFPs are released we’ll accept proposal submissions.
Green Infrastructure: Properties are intended for greenspace and trail connections. They are located next to infrastructure elements like the interstate. These will be considered in the planning effort of our new DOT Reconnecting Communities grant.
Negotiating Development: Properties have been released through formal RFP and are either in proposal review process or negotiations for development agreements.
No Current Development Planned: Note: properties may have odd parcel size, floodplain considerations, etc.
Reserved Essential Housing: Properties have been selected for affordable/essential housing and a proposal for these sites should have a housing focus. Homes do not have to be exclusively single-family. Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and Duplex, Triplex models are also encouraged.
